this is way long overdue.
i am thankful that grabbety covens noticed my silence, and nominated the rumblings on my blog for this award. check out this amazing person’s blog! if you want to catch feels, rush to his blog –– it’s extremely personal that cuts within…if that ever makes sense.
how my blog started:
i started this blog because it was required to have in my first college english course four years ago. we had to post our analyses on our individual blogs. after taking the course, i decided to renovate this blog into a personal blog where i would post my stories and poems and musings and other things. (though i have never been consistent keeping this blog. there was a point when i wanted to quit writing and delete this blog because i did not see the point of writing anymore; i was too shy to publish my silent rumblings. and, i was too busy being too busy with schooling and depression and everything in between. but, i digress.)
my advice to you:
one, you must read. read a lot. i remember when i took one of the creative writing courses offered at my school, my professor said that it is okay to plagiarize other’s works…just add your little twist to it…because everything’s been written and nothing’s a new idea anymore. two, keep writing. write a little. and, slow. or, a lot. and, fast. disregard grammatical mistakes because who cares about grammar anymore. keep writing and don’t take a long break because it will be difficult to get back to the grind. (unless, of course, your blog is about anything but writing)
